My story

Nina (7 years old): 'Every time I see a person living on the street in my neighbourhood, I feel very sad and want to do something for them. I often talk to my mum and dad about the best thing to do. Now they helped me set up this page, and I asked my friends and teachers from School360 to join me on this fundraising walk. We have a lot of energy! We are a small community that wants to help Shelter make a difference. At school, we are taught to think differently, learn together, and change the world with love and compassion. Please join us!'

On the 3rd of December, we will participate in Walk for Home on the 10km route.
There are a record 151,000+ children living in unsafe and unfit housing in the UK right now. When you ask what they want for Christmas, amongst the usual toys and treats, they'll tell you: a flushing toilet, a cooked meal, my own bed, no more damp.
All they want for Christmas is a safe home. We would greatly appreciate any donations to help us reach our target. The money we raise together will help Shelter be there for more children and families facing homelessness this winter and beyond.
