Let's take steps to help end homelessness

On 3 December, join thousands of walkers in London for Shelter's biggest ever Walk for Home!

Join thousands of walkers as we take to the streets of London. Whether you're up for a 5k stroll or a 10k trek, you'll enjoy a fantastic route along some of London's most iconic landmarks.

Don our iconic bobble hat alongside fellow Shelter supporters and together, we can take big steps to ensure that children and families have a warm and safe place to call home this Christmas and beyond.

We asked last year's walkers what they loved about Walk for Home, and they said:

'The sense of community, the upbeat and happy atmosphere, the fact it took place just before Christmas when all the lights were on, and the friendliness of all the support staff."

"Lovely route along the river Thames. Even though I walked on my own, the atmosphere was great walking along with everyone.'
